Hampton Inn Columbia

Breakfast was pathetic. Powdered eggs, sloppy areas, orange juice totally tasteless and full of water only fruit was canned pineapple...worst breakfast had at Hampton or any Hilton property

The hot b'fast was excellent and the reception staff was very courteous.

The bathroom sink wasn't draining fast.

Different eggs and meat served each day. Plenty of food choices and well stocked by server. Pool was good. Room was clean and stocked. Very close to a special exit on the freeway. Good connections for Columbia and the airport. Chick-filet nearby for grandkids.

The light on the microwave was visible from the bed. I put a towel over it. The chair at the desk couldn't adjust and had a sharp edge.

The decor was beautiful, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was pleasant. The breakfast bar was very nice.

For the price, I expected the room to be cleaner.The room was very dusty. Dust covered the headboard ledge, shelves, and lamps. The heating unit where the heat blows from was filthy and covered with lint and dust as well as the bathroom vent. The mini fridge leaked water from the freezer portion into the fridge. Only 2 out of the 5 jets in the whirlpool tub worked. And finally, the coat hook feel off of the wall. The young lady at the desk said in these situations they usually comp the room, but because we had already paid for the room through Booked.net, they couldn't.

Locatio but price 20% too high. Rural undeveloped area.

Front desk staff very careless and not friendly to anyone.

The pool wasn't clean guest left towels and they weren't cleaned up.

Free wifi? Nope. $5 a day Complementary breakfast was nasty. Was sick that afternoon. Ate breakfast at Bob Evans around the corner the next morning

the cleanliness of my room & the facilities the location my room was quite roomy and I felt @ home in it. the price was terrific

It was close to where we were spending our time.

The air conditioning unit made load noise throughout the night.

This location was near the Capital Jazz Festival.

The ice machine did not work on the 4th floor.

Bed is comfy. Room is good size. Towels are soft. Amenities are nice. Liked having the fridge and microwave.

The staff person at the desk was very helpful but seemed overwhelmed. There were all kinds of kids and families in the hotel for a sports tournament. The staff person, the only person working, was responsible for the check-in desk as well as the kitchen area. Maybe we came at just the wrong time, but she sure could have used some help!

All the pillows very mushy. I use a firmer pillow. Would be nice to have a mixture of pillows. Staff on weekdays slow to replenish breakfast items: we had to ask (waffle batter empty, eggs gone); evidently they ran low on food.
